Fixing this is very simple and easy, and it can be done in just one minute. First, move the mouse cursor to the panel where your app icons are not showing and right-click on it. An option menu will open, as shown in the image below.
Next, you need to go to the Applets option. You basically need to reset the applets, for which you will see an icon to reset. You can see what this icon looks like in the image.
