How to remove pages from a PDF
Open the document and every page is drawn as a thumbnail. Tap a page to mark it for deletion — marked pages dim and pick up a cross, so at a glance you can see what is leaving rather than what is staying. Tap again to keep it. If you already know the numbers, type them into the box: 2, 5-7, 14 marks exactly those pages and the grid follows.
The tally above the grid counts both sides of the decision as you work, which is the number worth checking before you export. When it reads what you expect, press Remove pages.
Cleaning up a scan
Find blank pages is for the most common version of this job: a duplex scanner that has faithfully captured the empty back of every sheet. Each page is rendered and measured for how much of it is not white, and anything under a small threshold is marked for you. It is a suggestion, not a verdict — look through the marks before exporting, because a page carrying only a faint signature, a light watermark or a single line of a footer can measure as blank.
What happens to the file
The document you download is built fresh from the pages you kept. That is why the file often shrinks by more than the page count suggests: an image or a font that only the deleted pages referred to is simply not carried over. Delete three pages of dense scanned photographs from a twenty page file and the saving can be most of its size; delete three pages of plain text and it will barely move.
The original file on your device is only ever read. Nothing is written back to it, so a mistake costs nothing more than running the tool again.

If the printed numbering needs to run in sequence again afterwards, add page numbers to the shortened file.
Questions
Is my PDF uploaded when I delete pages from it?
No. The document is opened by your browser and the shorter version is built there. This tool has no backend, so no copy of the file is sent anywhere and none is stored.
Does removing pages reduce the file size?
Usually yes, and often by more than you would expect, because anything only those pages referred to — their images and fonts — is left behind when the new document is written. Removing text-only pages from a scanned file saves little; removing scanned photographs saves a lot.
Can I get the deleted pages back?
The original file on your device is never modified, so the pages are still there. What you download is a new document. If you want the deleted pages as a file of their own, run the same selection through the extract tool instead.
How do I delete every blank page from a scan?
Press Find blank pages. Each page is rendered and measured for ink coverage, and any page below the threshold is marked. Review the marks before exporting: a page holding only a faint signature or a light watermark can read as blank by that measure.
Will the remaining pages be renumbered?
The pages themselves are unchanged, so a page number printed on a page stays as it was printed. Only the position in the document changes. Use the page number tool afterwards if the printed numbering needs to run in sequence again.
Is the quality of the remaining pages affected?
No. Kept pages are copied whole, with fonts, images and vector content intact. Nothing is re-rendered or re-compressed, so a page in the new file is the same page it was.
