Lately, technology is moving really fast, and AI is becoming a big part of our lives. Meta and Google are both doing a lot with AI. Sometimes they work together, and sometimes they are kind of competing with each other.
In August 2025, Meta made this huge deal with Google Cloud for more than $10 billion. Basically, it means Meta gets access to all the servers and storage they need for their projects. It also helps Google because it makes them stronger compared to Amazon and Microsoft.
Meta AI now shows results from Google and Bing in Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger. So, when you ask something, you get the latest and correct info really fast. It makes the AI way more useful and smart.
Meta’s team also checks out models from Google and OpenAI to make their AI better. At the same time, they are making their own AI called Llama 5, which should be even cooler in the future. For some tasks, like coding, they also use models from another company called Anthropic.
