What is Apple HomeView?
Apple HomeView is the company’s first smart display for the home. It sits on a table or hangs on a wall, and it controls your smart home, shows your photos, runs recipes, and handles FaceTime calls. Apple announced it at the “Welcome Home” event on October 13, 2026.
If you followed the rumors, you may know this product as the HomePad. We covered those leaks in our HomePad report. Apple chose the name HomeView in the end.
Apple HomeView price
HomeView costs $299. The price is the same for both versions: the tabletop model and the wall-mounted model. That is lower than the roughly $350 that many rumors suggested.
Apple HomeView release date
- Pre-order: open now.
- On sale: November 13.
Apple has not listed a full country list in the sources we checked. We know it will not launch in the EU. Read why in our guide on HomeView and the EU.

What else did Apple announce?
According to MacRumors, Apple also showed:
- A new Apple TV 4K with an A19 chip, Siri AI support, and a new Siri Remote ($59). Older Apple TV 4K models will also get Apple Intelligence and Siri AI.
- HomePod mini 2, launching October 30. Apple said it will not support Siri AI right away.
Prices for the new Apple TV 4K and HomePod mini 2 were not clear in the sources we checked. Rumors had suggested $129 for the HomePod mini 2, but that is not confirmed.

Should you buy it?
Think about these points before you pre-order:
- You get the most from HomeView if you already use an iPhone with Apple Intelligence.
- It is built around Siri AI, so it is not a simple speaker.
- If you live in the EU, you cannot buy it for now.
- Check your country’s Apple store before you plan around the November 13 date.
